Procedure Timeline at Med Harbour

At Med Harbour, we ensure every patient enjoys a smooth and personalized experience from arrival to recovery. From airport pick-up and health check-ups to surgery and post-operative care, our dedicated team guides you through every step with comfort and confidence.

1. Arrival Day

Upon your arrival in Bangkok, our Med Harbour team will warmly welcome you at Gate 3 of the airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel or Med Harbours private guest room.

• If your flight arrives late at night, you may rest and undergo your health check-up the following morning.
• If you arrive during the day, you will be taken directly to Prince Hospital or Sikarin Hospitalboth accredited by JCI International Standardsfor your pre-surgical health examination.

2. Surgery Day

On the day of your surgery, a comprehensive process ensures your comfort and safety:

• Pre-surgical health check-up at the hospital.
• Transfer to the surgical theatre at DGB Clinic or Med Harbour for preparation.
• You will be asked to shower and fast for at least 6 hours before the operation.
• Consultation and surgical marking will be done by your surgeon.
• Once finalized, you will proceed with payment and be taken to the surgical theatre, where your surgery will begin under the care of our experienced medical team.

In the rare case that any health risks are identified, the surgery will be held at the hospital for your safety, with an additional cost of 99,900 THB.

3. Post-Operative Recovery

After your procedure:

• You will be transferred to the recovery room, where your vital signs are continuously monitored.
• Our nurses provide 24/7 attentive care, including IV-administered pain relief and antibiotics for optimal comfort and healing.
• The initial recovery period is 23 days, during which your surgical drains will be monitored and removed once appropriate.

Once you are stable:

• You may choose to recover in your hotel or stay at Med Harbours Guest Room for close post-operative care.
• The Oral Medication Bag with the Wound Care set will be given to you. Please continue to perform the wound cleansing according to the prescription as well as the oral medication.
• While staying with us, you will receive three meals daily, daily wound care, and ongoing medical supervision.
• If you stay in a hotel, our team will arrange regular transfers to the clinic for wound care depending on your condition, this may be daily, every 2 days, or every 3 days.

Around Day 5 or when your wound has improved, you will receive comprehensive post-operative care, including:

• Proton Light Therapy to reduce swelling.
• Customized IV Drip Formulas to support healing, strengthen the immune system, and minimize scarring.



4. Exclusive Sightseeing Experience and other activities

As part of your recovery journey, Med Harbour invites you to enjoy an Exclusive Sightseeing Trip and Dinner Cruise along the magnificent Chao Phraya River.

You may inform us when you feel comfortable and ready to explore.

This luxurious experience is complimentary for the patient and one accompanying guest, offering a serene evening of fine dining and scenic views of Bangkoks illuminated skylinea perfect way to celebrate your transformation and recovery.



WHAT ARE THE PACKAGE DETAILS (UNDER GENERAL ANESTHESIA)



• Accomodation depending on which surgery the patient has. The room is located on the fourth floor of our clinic's building.
• There are 3 regular meals served per day. (During recovery, or if patient chooses to stay at clinic)
• Laboratory testing necessary for the procedures as CBC, EKG, UA, Anti HIV, Chest X-Ray
• Medical equipment and medical supplies.

The first option is our DGB Surgical Clinic, Med Harbours private center. This facility is owned and operated by our core team and features an international-standard operating theatre (OR). It is fully licensed, sterile, and purpose-built for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. DGB Clinic is ideal for healthy patients without high-risk medical conditions and offers greater privacy, boutique-level comfort, and streamlined recovery making it the preferred choice for most of our international clients.DGB CLINIC is the multidisciplinary Aesthetic and Reconstructive center also well known the pioner in Facelift and all beauty transforming surgery , having more than 20 surgeons who are very experienced and specialized in cosmetic surgery. The clinic has 4 stories. There are 6 recovery beds for patients. Two international standard OR, Two examination rooms, Private Spa Rooms and Facial Treatments, Meeting room, Consultation Room, and Guest Room with Full Facilities.

The clinic is available for any kinds of Operation and Surgery, with the innovative tools and equipment under the safety standard of a world class benchmark. However in case there are many traffics of patients in the same day , we also partner with several international standard hospitals such as Ruamjairak Hospital, Vimut Hospital, and St.Carlos Hospital.



FOR SPECIAL CASE

For patients with pre-existing health conditions or elevated surgical risk factors, we offer surgery at our partner hospital, Ruamjairak Hospital. This is a fully licensed general hospital equipped with comprehensive emergency support and advanced monitoring systems. Its recommended for those with heart conditions, diabetes, high BMI, or a history of surgical complications. The same Med Harbour surgeons and care team will treat you there only the surgical setting changes to ensure enhanced safety.

Our team will carefully assess your health profile, history, and preferences to recommend the most suitable location. No matter where your procedure is performed, you can expect the same level of care, skill, and Med Harbour quality. If youd like, were happy to provide video tours or images of both locations to help you feel confident and fully informed.

ACCOMMODATION

• Hotel / Room where patients will stay will be up to patient's preferences. Either could be Clinic's VIP Room, Hospital's Room, or Room at the hotels.
• Our partnering hotels are : MII HOTEL, LUMEN HOTEL (SRINAKARIN), NOVOTEL BANGNA, and some more. It is also possible If the client has hotel in mind but haven't booked it yet, we can book it for you.
• The patients can choose the type of room, from standard one, Delux, Suite. Or just can discuss the preference with our representative for the best option.
• The room type and information will be sent to patient for consideration and booked before the arrival date.
• The hotel charge will be incurred only if the patient wants to extend the stay, or the patient wants to have an extra room for their guests.
